The heated needle-locking nozzle for plastic injection molding machines, for injection molding tools or for hot channel equipment has two sections (12, 14), the section (12) of which is furnished with a central, rod-shaped heating element (28) which forms, together with the inside wall of section (12), a ring-shaped flow channel for the melt which is introduced into the section (12) through a machine nozzle (18). On the outside diameter of the section (12), a sleeve is guided in a movable and sealing manner which is guided in a sealing manner with its outside diameter in the second section (14). The sleeve is connected with a power drive on its free outwardly pointing end and with a locking needle (24) on its end pointing into the flow channel of the section (14). The nozzle opening on the end (20) of the section (14) is closed with the needle (24) when the sleeve is moved in direction of arrow (26) (Fig. 2).
