The vehicle has control means (4) and an electric motor (2) capable of being fed from a battery (3) for driving a driving wheel (1), and further comprises an internal-combustion engine (9) which is rotatably connected with a starter permanent-magnet motor (8) that is in turn adapted to be rotatably driven by said internal-combustion engine (9) at such a speed as to enable it to produce electric energy to supply said driving motor (2) and possibly also recharge the battery. Advantage: The vehicle's construction is drastically simplified and the costs thereof are reduced accordingly.
