PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transfer plotting instruction and to effectively use the parallel processing performance when the plotting instructions are processed in parallel to each other via plural plotting instruction processing parts. SOLUTION: A plotting area allocation part 13 allocates the areas to be processed by plural plotting instruction processing parts 10 in strip-shapes. A plotting instruction issue part 14 issues the plotting instructions to plot a trapezoidal area that covers plural strips, and a plotting instruction transfer part 16 transfers en bloc and simultaneously plural plotting instructions to the parts 10 via a communication path 17. The parts produce the plotting data for the corresponding areas in response to the plotting instructions and write the plotting data in a local memory to composite them into the image data.
