PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid state detector capable of detecting the liquid level and outflow rate of the liquid existing in a vessel and detecting the presence or absence of the abnormality in the outflow state. SOLUTION: A connecting pipe is connected via a branch pipe 15 to a discharge port 10a at the bottom of a drip transfusion vial 10. The other end of this connecting pipe is connected to a pressure sensor 25 in the detector 20. A is filled in the connecting pipe. A transfuse 12 is changed in the outflow rate and is discharged by adjusting the opening degree of a valve 18, by which the liquid level falls. The water pressure in the discharge port drops as the liquid level falls and, therefore, the pressure change thereof is detected by a pressure sensor. The liquid level is determined in an arithmetic section contained in the detector. The outflow rate is calculated in accordance with the amt. of the liquid level decreased per unit time and the result in the calculation is outputted. Whether the calculated value is within a prescribed range or not is judged, the presence or absence of the abnormality is monitored. |
