<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise by setting the tip of the blade of each fan close to a fan housing, and forming a flange on the tip of the blade so as to be integrated thereto. SOLUTION: A flange 15 is formed on the tip of the blade 14 of a cooling fan so as to be integrated thereto. This flange 15 is formed of a flat element, which is slightly curved so as to be rotatable along the inner wall part of a fan housing 12. The flange 15 is mounted vertically the surface of the blade 14, and extended to both the front and rear of the fan housing 12. The extending length of the flange 15 from the blade 14 is set to about 1/4 of 1 inch from the surface of the blade 14. Thus, the flow of an eddy current by the tip of the blade 14 is reduced, and the noise by the movement of air which is caused by the fan is reduced.</p> |
