摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic bearing device to hold a rotary body in a magnetic central position through automatic correction of a deviation between a sensor neutral position or a mechanical center position and a magnetic center position, and improve control performance. SOLUTION: A magnetic bearing device comprises a plurality of magnetic bearings 2, 3, and 4 having a plurality of electromagnets 12a, 12b, 13a, 13b, 13c, 13d, 14a, 14b, 14c, and 14d to support a rotary body 1 in a non-contact state; a plurality of position sensors 5, 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d, 16a, 16b, 16c, and 16d to detect the position of a rotary body 1; and an electromagnet control means to control the electromagnets of the magnetic bearing based on a signal from a position sensor. The electromagnet control means temporarily floats the rotary body 1 in a given temporary levitation position and estimates a magnetic center position to the position of the electromagnet of the magnetic bearing from an exciting current flowing to each electromagnet of the magnetic bearing during temporary levitation, and causes magnetic levitation of the rotary body 1 to the magnetic center position.</p>
