<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently mass propagate Platanus acerifolia Willd. without varying the character of a superior individual having the same genetic character by culturing a terminal bud, etc., of the Platanus acerifolia Willd. in an artificial culture medium, developing a shoot, taking rooting, regenerating the plant body and carrying out the tissue culture and propagation of the Platanus acerifolia Willd. SOLUTION: A terminal bud or an auxiliary bud of Platanus acerifolia Willd. is cultured in an artificial culture medium containing kinetin to develop a shoot, which is then elongated. The resultant shoot is cultured in an artificial culture medium containing indole-3-acetic acid to take root. Thereby, the plant body is regenerated to carry out the tissue culture and propagate the Platanus acerifolia Willd.</p> |
