PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a frequency by sending a voice signal and an image signal through a same line. SOLUTION: A transmitter side is provided with a VAD section 16 detecting a period of voice/silence of a voice signal and a multiplexer section 18 inserting image data to a non-voice period of voice data based on an identification signal from the VAD section 16 and sending the resulting signal, and a receiver side is provided with a demultiplexer section 22 demultiplexing the voice data and the image data, inserting blank data corresponding to the image data to the voice data, preventing timewise deviation of the voice signal and providing an output. |
