<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose clip ensuring the sealed connection between a hose and a pipe over a wide temperature range. SOLUTION: In a hose clip having an elastic and flexible metallic clip band 4 and a clamp head for mutually connecting the end parts of the clip band, the clip band 4 has a circumferentially extending slit 7. One 17 of both edge parts 17, 18 of the clip band 4 regulating the slit 7 on the sides has a corrugated form, and the corrugated body 19 generates an elastic force (spring force) over the whole using temperature range. In such a hose clip, a hose 1 is closely held (clamped) on a pipe to which the hose is connected regardless of the thermal expansion or contraction of the hose material over the whole using temperature range of the hose clip.</p> |
