<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately specify the position of an object while even decreasing the number of measurement times. SOLUTION: In the method for specifying the position of an object T existing inside a screening part E from the outside of the screening part E, a pair of cross coils C comprising a first transmission coil 1 for taking a first posture where a shaft center is in parallel with or in nearly parallel with the surface of the screening part E and a second transmission coil 2 for taking a second posture where the shaft center is vertical or nearly vertical to the surface of the screening part E are provided at the object T. Then, by feeding current with different frequency or phase to each of the cross coils C, a mixed magnetic field is induced and the strength of the mixed magnetic field is detected by a magnetic detection means D arranged outside the screening part E. The strength of the magnetic field of each extracted constituent is extracted based on the difference in frequency or phase, thus specifying the position of the object T based on the strength of the magnetic field of each extracted constituent.</p> |
