ACCESS METHOD FOR MESSAGE QUEUE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access method in an asynchronous accumulation-type communication for transferring a long message without changing an application program. SOLUTION: Plural queue files 131-13n which are provided in the distribution processing node of a distribution processing system and which are physically different are considered to be one queue file group 13. A message storage pointer 117 and a message take-out pointer 118 are provided for a message queue manager 11. The storage/take-out of the messages are executed in the queue files 131-13n which the contents of the pointers show and the contents of the pointers 117 and 118 are changed whenever the message is stored and is taken out.
