Disclosed is an apparatus to display character on a brake bulb for a car. The apparatus comprises a thought display means(31), a lighting means(34), a driving motor(M), a motor controller(LSW1, LSW2, LSW3, T) and a selection means(37, 38). The motor controller includes limit switches(LSW1, LSW2, LSW3) and a timer(T). The selection means(37, 38) includes a switch(37) and a switch controller(38). The thought display means(31) displays the driver's thought. The lighting means(34) lights up the thought display means(31). The driving motor(M) rotates the thought display means(31) to one direction. The limit switches(LSW1, LSW2, LSW3) sense the location of the thought display means(31) to control the motor(M). The timer(T) controls the location of the motor(M) to be originated. The selection means(37, 38) selects the display menu by user. Thereby, the effect of the brake bulb is improved, and safe drive is performed.
