Clock counter(11) receives the clock signal for a certain period to be varied by a speed control part(10) and counts this clock signal and outputs the data of N bit to control switching speed and a number of illuminant set up on a display unit. Control and memory part(12) synthesizes the data to be memorized in advance according to external control signal which inputted directly by user with the data of N bit to be gave from clock counter(11), and stores temporarily, and also outputs N times in order the data of M bit which show switching order of LCD element to the driving of illuminant(13). The driving of illuminant(13) detects the data of M bit to be given from control and memory part(12), and operates LED according to the data detected.
