Fine data display and skip setting of optic disk player is operated as follows; (a) In case an user turns on the power and inserts optic disk to the player, door open/close mode is performed. (b) With a controling pick up unit, the player reads the data recorded in the Read In Area Data of optic disk, and saves the read data in memory and also displays it on display part. (c) If other mode selecting key is turned on, relevant mode is operated. (d) If stop mode is selected by stop key, the player displays read data again according to users demand.
