Disclosed is a gear lever apparatus within a manual gear of car. The apparatus comprises a gear lever(1), a main shaft(4), a base plate(20), a cover(21) and a co-mover(8). Lower portion of the rod type gear lever(1) functions as a shift lever(2). A select lever(3) is orthogonalized and fixed to the shift lever(2). The main shaft(4) is inserted into the select lever(3). A inserting portion(22, 23) is formed at the base plate(20) and cover(21). The select lever(3) is through the inserting portion(22, 23). The hinge slots(24, 25) are formed at center of the inserting parts(22, 23), so that the main shaft(4) is rotatively coupled with the hinge slots(24, 25). An edge of the horizontal portion of co-mover(8) is connected to the edge of select lever(3). Thereby, the structure is simplified and the manufacturing cost is reduced.
