The flower trough is held in a window opening in the front of a building by two symmetrical supports (20,30). Each support has a vertical upper part which is fixed to the side (14,15) of the opening by screws. The side of a lower part is fixed to the front of the building by screws. The horizontal base of the lower part supports a channel (50), which is U-shaped in cross section. The outer walls of the lower part close the ends of the channel. A plate (60) is placed on ribs (51,52) in the base of the channel.
