The double flywheel damper consists of two turning masses (1,2) which are joined by a series of elastic elements (54) which are orientated radially. Each one is mounted to articulate, one end on the first mass (1) and the other end on the second mass (2) by the axes (36,32) respectively. A frictional damper (104) is provided between the two rotating masses situated between the two axes. It is made up of a washer (100) with transverse orientation fixed to the axis (32) at its end (108). Its other end (140) drives in rotation one of the components (102) of the frictional damper (104).
