Moulding procedure for motor vehicle indicator light component with fixing clip

The procedure consists of forming a gripping projection(20) which extends from the flat face of the component's fixing clip (6) during the moulding process. The clip is formed between a mould pocket (32) and a projecting section (38) of a piston (31) and has a relief surface (8) designed to engage with a recess in the component's supporting member. The light component's gripping projection extends at right angles to the outer face of its fixing clip. It is made from a plastic material and incorporates a bulb holder.
