PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retreat sensors installed on the surface of an image forming body from the carrying surface of a transfer material, simultaneously with the movement of the image forming body. SOLUTION: A photosensor unit 70 is slidably supported by a cylindrical part 2A formed in the base board 2 of a device main body and connected to the top end part of the leaf spring 82 of a sliding unit 80 which is engaged with the oblong hole 2B of the base board 2 to be slid in the horizontal direction. On the other hand, the projecting part 30A of a drum cartridge 30 housing a photoreceptor drum 10 is interposed between the guiding pin 81 of the sliding unit 80 and a projection 83. Then, the photosensor unit 70 is moved/retreated from a position capable of detecting the surface of a photoreceptor by the elastic deformation of the leaf spring 82, with the sliding unit 80 by the movement in the horizontal direction of the drum cartridge 30. |
