PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an electronic percussion instrument to produce many different sounds from a small number of pads. SOLUTION: The sounds of musical scales or drumming sounds can be allocated to pads P1 to P8 by means of a percussion setting switch 23. If the drumming sounds are allocated to the pads, the sound of the bass drum allocated to a foot switch 3 can be produced by operation of the foot switch 3 during performance, and if the musical scales are allocated the scale of the sound produced by the pad is shifted by a half tone by the operation of the foot switch 3 during the operation of the pad. |
