FIELD: sewage treatment. SUBSTANCE: method involves treatment with alkaline-earth metal chloride or their mixture followed by separation of an aqueous and organic phases. Alkaline-earth metal chlorides were added to an aqueous-oily emulsion sewage at ratio organic phase : metal ≅ 250:1, by mass. Hardness salts were extracted and/or flotated to organic phase. EFFECT: increased treatment degree, decreased process time, reagents consumption and improved ecology. 1 tbl
