PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct the stable manufacturing process by molding the corner sections of a metal piece into an R-shape with a jig, arranging the metal piece at the inner bottom section of a sealing plate, and deforming and pressing it into a nearly circular shape. SOLUTION: A lithium lump with a prescribed volume is cut out from a metal lithium rod into a polygonal cubic shape. This cut piece is molded into a spindle shape by a molding die 8 having a curved molding face, individual corner of the polygon are rounded or chamfered, then the cut piece is conveyed to the inner bottom section of a sealing plate, and it is pressed and deformed at the inner bottom section of the sealing plate. When preliminary molding is added to the conventional method, the final pressed shape is stabilized, and the more stable manufacturing process can be performed. |
