PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To copy an original composed of a black part and a colored part in a relatively short time and to reduce the waste of consumables by setting a business color and selecting a conversion processing by color specification system data conversion, approximate hue data conversion and data conversion for image formation, etc. SOLUTION: Original reflected light is color resolved by an image reader part, it is photoelectrically converted and the three primary color (r), (g) and (b) signals of an additive color system are generated. The three primary colors are respectively A/D converted and turned to R, G and B data. The data are converted to color coodinate system data H (hue), V (lightness) and C (saturation). In a multi-color processing part, the approximation of the hue data is performed and replacement data H', V' and C' are generated. In a business color processing part, the separation of black Bk data and color masking are performed and the density data of three kinds at maximum including Bk are generated. The data are sent to a density correction processing part for business color copying and converted to analog density signals. |
