PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the amount of information usable for an entire system, while reducing the amount of information which music playback devices store individually. SOLUTION: A CPU 4, at the input of a request via a remote control 12, judges whether or not the karaoke data for the music requested is present within a hard disk 6 in its karaoke device 1. If the data does not exist, a corresponding table in the hard disk 6 is consulted to acquire the phone number of another karaoke device 1 which holds the karaoke data for that music. Then, a connection to this karaoke device 1 is made and the karaoke data transmitted therefrom is received and stored in an internal memory. |
