PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, with which a response message at the time of automatic response to incoming call can be automatically switched corresponding to the current connection conditions of mobile station and a message can be reproduced corresponding to the conditions, concerning the digital cordless telephone system composed of a self-supporting base station and the mobile station connectable to both the self-supporting base station and a public base station. SOLUTION: An incoming call detecting means 13 inside a self-supporting base station 11 detects the incoming call and when there is no response from a user within following fixed time, an automatic incoming call responding means 14 is operated. A connection condition detecting means 15 discriminates whether a mobile station 12 is connected to the self-supporting base station or not. Corresponding to this detected result, an automatic response message selecting means 17 selects any optimum response message out of plural response messages stored in a response message storage means 18, and a response message reproducing and sending means 16 reproduces the selected response message. |
