PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate ensuring the dimensional accuracy and to simplify manufacture by specifying the width and the oblique angle of the sloped surface of a read part, respectively. SOLUTION: In a read part 321 of a fixed drum, a sloped surface 321a is made a gentle slope having an angleα<=45 deg. formed by the rotating direction of a drum (an arrow A) even after the read ending point C as same as a tape winding part B. In the range from the read ending point C to the read starting point C1, the slope is formed so as to plot almost line whose oblique angle is <=45 deg.. As for the width of the sloped surface 321a of the read part 321, the required out-of-roundness of the fixed drum is satisfied and the width of the sloped surface 321a of the read part 321 is suitable in the range of 0.1-0.2 in order that the magnetic tape simultaneously runs stably without slipping down from the sloped surface 321a of the read part 321.
