TELEPHONE EXCHANGE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly make a telephone call to a telephone set which is utilized by an opposite party at present in a telephone exchange system in which a desk-top telephone set and a portable telephone set are used jointly. SOLUTION: An exchange control part 114 of telephone switchboard 110 provided with an external interface 115 for performing data communication with a data base system 160 on a LAN judges the utilizing conditions of portable telephone set based on the telephone numbers of desk-top telephone set 140 and portable telephone set 130 to be used from the data base system 160 connected to the LAN for each individual and the position registration information of portable telephone set at a portable telephone base station 120, decides which telephone set the telephone call is to be made to and sets a speech path. A data base file 170 records the dealing information of telephone numbers of desk-top telephone set and portable telephone set for each individual. The portable telephone base station 120 holds the telephone number of portable telephone set 130 and whether the telephone set exists in a transmission/ reception zone or not as the position registration information.
