<p>The 'mouse' has conventional displacement detection, but has pressure transducers operated by the mouse buttons (B1,B2,B3). The signals from the pressure transducers are encoded and transmitted to the computer. The position data is transmitted to the computer via a conventional mouse cable (105). Transmission of pressure signals to the computer can be by a separate cable (106) with its own connection to the computer's external ports, or by multiplexing with the position data for serial transmission over a single line.</p> |
