Fluorescent image display device

摘要

The device includes a cathode substrate with an electron source and an anode substrate with a fluorescent zone. Light is emitted by the this zone under bombardment with electrons coming from the cathode. The two components are separated by support rods which are made of a glass-rich substance and have a predetermined length. The rod material does not includes in its composition any alkaline component. Each rod has a hydrophobic surface thus reducing water absorption an oxygen emission.
