摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor apparatus which can be operated stably according to a simple driving system and whose environmental reliability is high. SOLUTION: A plurality of electrode groups 103 which are formed on the surface of a piezoelectric element 102 are driven by a boosting circuit 501. A vibrating body 101 is bonded to the other face of the piezoelectric element 102, and the vibrating body 101 is used also as an electrode. The piezoelectric element 102 and the vibrating body 101 act as a mechanical filter, and a signal whose main component is the natural frequency is generated at the vibrating body 101. The signal is amplified by an amplifier circuit 502 and input to the boosting circuit 501. The signal which is stepped up by the boosting circuit 501 is applied to the electrode groups 103, and the piezoelectric element 102 is excited and driven. The driving signal which is applied to the electrode groups 103 is fed back to the amplifier circuit 502 and the boosting circuit 501, and the piezoelectric element 102 is self-oscillated. As a result, the vibrating body 101 which is bonded to the piezoelectric element 102 is vibrated, and a moving body 10 which comes into contact with the vibrating body 101 under a prescribed pressure by a pressing means 109 is turned.
