Tarpaulin raised by inflatable pads to protect surface from effect of bad weather or contamination, esp. for tennis court

The tarpaulin (1) is made in coated fabric and has eyelets (3) along each side. A cable (4) is threaded each set of eyelets to guide the movement of the tarpaulin. Under the tarpaulin there are inflatable pads (2) to raise it to allow air flow. The central pad is thicker than the side pads so that there is a slope to allow water to drain off. The cables are fixed to anchoring points. A rain detector can be used to unfold tarpaulin and inflate the pads automatically.
