The antenna (1) is positioned inside a hollow body which is formed in the vehicle and is invisible from outside the vehicle. The hollow body is formed from a material which is permeable to radio waves. The antenna is of whip type and is positioned vertically to ensure optimal reception. The vehicle has a sandwich type structure and is formed from two skin layers which have a foam filler material positioned in between. The hollow body is formed by a zone in which the two skins have been removed from each other. The hollow body is at least partially filled with the filler material and includes a blocking device which prevents the antenna from vibrating.
