The longitudinal end (14) of a flexible pipe (16) is fitted onto an axial end (12) of a rigid tubular ferrule (10) by means of a bayonet connection. The flexible pipe longitudinal end has, on an internal cylindrical surface (32), a helicoidal groove (34) which emerges in a transverse face of the end (28) of the pipe. The groove receives a radial lug (36) on the external cylindrical surface (38) of the ferrule so as to ensure a bayonet type of mounting of the pipe on the ferrule. A seal (41) locks the radial lug in the bottom of a longitudinal end (37) of the groove. An annular sealing joint (26) is provided between the internal cylindrical surfaces of the pipe and the external cylindrical surface of the ferrule axial end.
