The floor anchor has an anchor point (13) fixed to one end of a seat support (12), and a screw (2) connected at the other end of the support with a limited displacement in the longitudinal direction of the support. The screw can have fixings (3) rigidly fixed on the support. The fixings are mounted between two lateral walls (27,28) of a body of the screw and guided in the longitudinal direction in apertures formed in the walls.
