FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: strain is obtained by insertion of the cloned human erythropoietin gene in plasmid pSVdEpoLMo in cells of Chinese humster ovary transplantable line CHO tk. The claimed strain CHO Epo-2 shows high production of human erythropoietin (1500-1800 U/ml) that is stable under nonselective conditions and can be used for industrial production. Human erythropoietin can be used for curative and research aims in medicine and biology. EFFECT: new strain indicated above, increased yield of the end product.
