PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reproduction characteristics and to lessen the occurrence of errors by sticking a pair of substrates formed with information surfaces on one substrate by intervening a film specified in its thickness in-between. SOLUTION: This optical recording medium is constituted by mating the first and second substrates 1, 2 formed with the first and second information surfaces 13 and 14 via a transparent intermediate spacing 23. The multi-layered optical recording medium constituted in such a manner has the transparent intermediate spacing as thick as, for example, 40μm in the thickness between the information surfaces. The multilayered optical recording medium having the excellent optical recording and reproducing characteristics and lessens the occurrence of errors, i.e., has the excellent optical characteristics is thus obtd. |
