PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ion conductivity and charging/discharging efficiency by coating carbon electrode material for a lithium secondary battery with a coat, insoluble in an aprotic organic solvent and having lithium ion conductivity. SOLUTION: Carbon electrode material for a lithium secondary battery, having a graphitization degree of 0.4 or more, is dipped into a solution, containing a compound, functioning as the matrix of one kind of more macromolecule solid electrolyte, at 0-60 deg.C, to adsorb the compound onto the surface of the carbon electrode material. Next, a crosslinking compound, such as a silane coupling agent, of 0.5-5wt.%, is added to the solution to crosslink the matrix at 0-150 deg.C to coat the surface of the carbon electrode material by a coat insoluble in an aprotic organic solvent and having a lithium ion conductivity of 0.5-10wt.%. |
