CUSTOMER RECEPTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the customer reception system which enables a customer to select and purchase commodities and services without actually going to a shop as if he faced to a seller. SOLUTION: A receptionist and the customer have a conversation with each other by conversation devices in terminal equipments 10a and 10b. A television camera 18a photographs not only the receptionist in front of the terminal equipment 10a but also commodities and other related information on the receptionist side and sends the picture signal to the terminal equipment 10a on the customer side through a communication line 12. Pictures photographed by the television camera 18a are displayed in areas 20a and 20b on display devices 14a and 14b. Information registered in an internal storage means of the terminal equipment 10a can be displayed in areas 22a and 22b on display devices 14a and 14b.
