A dishwasher suitable for drying moist air contained in the basin by condensation. two external conduit are connected to said basin, independent of each other. The first conduit opens into the upper portion of the basin in its lower part and includes within it a fan suitable for making the air in it circulate. The second conduit aspirates an air flow in from the outside with an appropriate aspiration intake and expelling it to the outside through a suitable discharge outlet by means of a second fan. A heat exchanger between these conduits is made in such a way that the flow of said first conduit and the flow of said second conduit are directed perpendicularly when they pass through the exchanger. The heat exchanger is preferably placed in the space between the basin and outer cabinet wall and includes first elongated parallel channels with rectangular cross-sections and arranged so as to be side by side but separated by corresponding interspaces and second parallel channels with a similar cross-section, arranged in said interspaces that separate said first channels.
