Buried gas tank

The gas tank (1) has its protection equipment housed in a shaft (2). The shaft has a saddle (3) which fits the shape of part of the external surface of the tank by which it is mechanically fixed to the tank by a nut and bolt or by webbing (8). A sealing joint (7) is interposed between the tank and the saddle. A pump (10) enabling evacuation of water is housed inside the shaft and communicates with the outside through a pipe (11). A safety valve (12), an emptying valve (13) and a filling valve (14) are also housed in the shaft.
