PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve the temporary sudden starting phenomenon when running is performed by changing the state from the advancing state to the backing state or from the backing state to the advancing state conversely by performing the starting control for driving an electric motor at the higher output power than the normal starting when the starting direction and the rotating direction of the electric motor disagree. SOLUTION: A judging circuit 17 has a direction judging means, which compares and judges the output signal from the Q output terminal of a flip-flop circuit 15 and the advancing-direction signal set by an advancing/backing change-over switch 13z and also has a vehicle-speed comparing means. When the output signal from the Q output terminal and the advancing direction disagree, that is to say, when the rotating direction of the electric motor 3 and the starting direction of the body are different, the control signal is outputted to a driving control circuit 18 so as to drive the electric motor 3 at the higher running load than the ordinary slow starting, that is to say, at the high output. Thus, the sudden starting, which gives unpleasant feeling to the driver, is avoided, and the excellent starting can be performed. |
