<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color image forming method and the device therefor by which higher image quality and durability can be obtained in a two- component noncontact developing system for a reversal image which uses a carrier and a toner, by using a specified carrier. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, an overlapped color image is formed by repeating a process of uniform electrification on an image forming body, a process of exposure and a process of reversal development of the latent image, and the reversal development is performed by a two-component noncontact developing system which uses a carrier and a toner. The carrier used is a magnetic carrier coated with a silicone resin. By using this carrier, the surface energy decreases to prevent melt sticking. Further, since the carrier has a low coefft. of friction and good fluidity, influences of the carrier toner on agitation in a developing device or pressing by magnetization on a regulating member for the amt. to be carrier and on the surface layer of a sleeve can be decreased. With decrease in the Van der Waals force with the toner and a developing sleeve, the carrier hardly deposits.</p> |
