<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with the change of the output of a lamp or the change of the maximum diameter of the cross section of a flattened sealing part with one base by combining a base with a reflecting mirror without providing an outer tube, and providing the base with 2-3 or more kinds of base diameter parts. SOLUTION: A light emitting tube is fixed to a bottom part of a reflecting mirror with a cold mirror through a base 6 without providing an outer tube, and the axis of the light emitting tube is horizontally arranged for horizontal lighting. For example, the base 6 to be used for both of the input at 250 W and 150 W is formed with the maximum diameter part atϕ10mm, and a diameter part atϕ8mm is also integrally formed. A lamp holder 7 for the diameter atϕ8mm is made of the ceramic except for the lamp presser and power supplying springs 8a, 8b and a power supplying contact 9. A wall surface load of the light emitting tube is regulated at 40-150W/cm<2> . In the case where the wall surface load exists in this range, since the lamp characteristics is influenced by the length and the volume of a flattened and crimped part, the base 6 is provided with 2-3 kinds of base diameter parts with a stage difference, and the base 6 and the lamp holder 7 are formed in the same specification so that parts can be used for the both.</p> |
