PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable operator to set the preheating degree and to more improve the usability by providing a preheating degree instructing means for giving instructions for the preheating degree of an image forming device provided with a preheating means and a control means for controlling the energizing state of the preheating means, according to the contents of the instructions. SOLUTION: A reset time instructing means 1 gives such instruction that make the reset time shorter, standard or longer. A reset time display part 2 displays the set state of the reset time, in accordance with the contents of the instructions by the lighting of an LED. A memory means 3 stores the contents of the instructions inputted from the reset time instructing means 1. A deciding means 4 reads out the latest instruction contents inputted from the reset time instruction means 1 and temporarily stored in the memory means 3 and the instruction contents stored in the memory 3 just before that, from the memory 3. The judging means 4 further compares both these instruction contents and judges whether the latest instruction content is ones to make the reset time shorter, or not. |
