PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of an operation ring which has its external diameter axially connected by providing a cover which is mounted on the operation ring so that the surface of the connection part between two cylinder parts is covered. SOLUTION: This lens barrel has a fixed cylinder 1 which is fitted detachably to a camera main body and the operation ring (MF operation ring) 2 for manual focusing which is fitted rotatably onto the fixed cylinder 1. This MF operation ring 2 is constituted by connecting two cylinder parts, which differ in external diameter, along the axis and in concrete, a cylindrical member 3 having a cam cylinder 5 formed inside and a cylindrical member 4 which has a larger external diameter than the cylindrical member 3 are threadably engaged in one. A cover 9 (rubber ring 9) is mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical member 3 and a cover (rubber ring 10) is mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical member 4. This rubber ring 10 covers the connection part between the cylindrical members 3 and 4, i.e., the rear end part of the cylindrical member 4. |
