PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable remote instruction/plotting or remote camera position control even with a communication terminal used only for image/voice by superimposing a pointer or a line drawing for displaying position information onto a moving image in order to exchange the position information. SOLUTION: A picture B as the moving image from a terminal B is sent from a communication control part 31 to an instructed object recognizing part 32. The instructed object recognizing part 32 discriminates a pencil P in the picture B in cooperation with an instruction/plotting recognizing part 35. An instructed object position information extracting part 33 and an instructed object motion information extracting part 36 discriminate the position and motion of pencil P, which is recognized by the instructed object recognizing part 32, on the image. The discriminated position and motion information of pencil P is sent to a position/motion synthesizing part 34. Based on the position/motion information of pencil P, a pointer image P formed in the shape of arrow is superimposed on a moving image A, which is photographed by a video camera 1, by the synthesizing part 34. That superimposed moving image is transmitted as a moving image through the communication control part 31 to the video conference terminal B. At the same time, this moving image is displayed on a video monitor 3 as well. |
