PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send a prescribed image to each connected video conference terminal when the state of no speaker is continued for a prescribed time by sending the image of video conference terminal, where a speaker exists, to the other video conference terminal. SOLUTION: Voice data, video data and the other data received from a terminal A are demultiplexed by a multiplex/demultiplex part 34A. The demultiplexed voice data are transferred to an audio processing unit 35, the demultiplexed video data are transferred to a video processing unit 36 and the other data are transferred to a data processing unit 37 respectively. At the audio processing unit 35, the received voices of terminals A, B, C and D are mixed and the mixed voice is sent back to respective multiplex/demultiplex parts 34A-34D. At the video processing unit 36, images are switched and a specified image is sent back to the multiplex/demultiplex parts 34A-34D. Then, the data received from the respective units are multiplexed and sent back through network interfaces 31A-31D to the respective terminals A-D. |
