PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unify the voltage characteristic when a battery is discharged and improve the life performance of group batteries and battery packs by increasing the quantity of the anisotropic graphite added to a positive electrode active material toward the low-temperature portion from the high-temperature portion on the positive electrode of the battery. SOLUTION: A positive electrode active material added with anisotropic graphite of 0.2wt.%, 0.1wt.%, 0wt.%, 0wt.%, 0.1wt.%, and 0.2wt.% respectively is used for the first cell through the sixth cell in this order to manufacture a battery, where the first cell has a positive electrode terminal and the sixth cell has a negative electrode terminal on a positive electrode 1. These added quantity ratios correspond to the ratios required for offsetting the discharge capacity differences due to the temperature differences of the cells generated at the charge/discharge cycle life test. The voltage characteristic is unified when the battery is discharged, and the life characteristics of group batteries and a battery assembly are improved. |
