PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator mechanism comprising a vertically sliding body equipped with position sensors on its top and bottom to detect the upper and lower limits of travel, which reduces the number of required parts and eliminates troublesome positioning. SOLUTION: A vertically sliding block 15 is equipped with reflective photosensors 21 and 22 as position sensors on its top and bottom, respectively. The top photosensor 21 emits light to objects existing upward and detects them by the reflection, and the bottom photosensor 22 emits light to objects existing downward and detects them by the reflection. To improve the accuracy of detection by reflection, reflectors may be place at objects to be detected. It is thus possible to eliminate troublesome positioning while reducing the number of required parts. |
