PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the device in which a same program is overwritten to a same address of a video recording medium in the case of reservation video recording of a continued program. SOLUTION: Reservation video recording information of a continuous program is stored in a memory section 4, video recording reproduction management section 3 decides a video recording start position so that the same program is repetitively overwritten on a same position of a recording medium and the video recording start position is automatically updated through addition 7 reduction of the continuous program. Concretely the video recording reproduction management section 3 decides the positions for plural reservation video recording continuous programs in the video recording medium and records a head signal to the recording start position on a tape for the first video recording. The video recording is started from the head signal having already been recorded from 2nd and succeeding recording and a tape feed amount from the head of tape to the video recording start position is stored in the memory section 4. When the user selects a program the video recording start position is searched by using the tape feed amount stored in the memory section to set the reproduction state.
